a day on the farm

If you have read about 'grakay' you will know we have numerous species sharing our little bit of paradise.

This pot, meant for a nook in the garden, takes a whimsical look at these creatures and their place in our life.

Handbuilt with a grogged clay, a smooth white slip is then applied at the leatherhard stage and when bone dry the 'story' is painted freehand with ceramic stains and oxides before firing to cone 5/6 in a gas kiln
