to design a project using soft tiles, size limit 30 x 45 cm (or approximate equivalent)
make and decorate 'soft patchwork' tiles

• from 8.30am to 4.30pm

• minimum of 5 participants
• maximum of 8 particpants

cost $120 - includes clay, slips, glazes & firing costs, morning and afternoon teas and light lunch

This workshop is designed to take you out of your 'comfort zone' and try something different.

Soft tiles (or slabs) will be textured and joined like patchwork to make your design project.

This project can be anything (or almost) that you may wish to make, sculptural or functional.

requirements

You must come along with a definite idea of what you want to achieve.

• bring sketches, magazine clippings, photos or whatever gives you inspiration
• bring 'found' objects for making texture
• rolling pin
• knife or paint scraper
• setsquare or and/or ruler
• covered board,if you have one, for a surface to roll clay
